Bullying has become a major concern in our day to day lives. We find bullying not only in our children's schools, but affecting teens and adults. Bullying is not only verbal, we also see it in social media. We understand that bullying is a real challenge that affects a lot of people everyday. Our goal is to empower and equip our students with the life skills to overcome and possibly help stop bullying where ever they may face it.
Through our programs we discuss various ways to be a part in bully prevention and how they can play a part with others in their schools and communities. We have had the pleasure to work with school bully prevention specialists and police officers, that work in and with the schools to help educate our students on how they can play a part in helping or dealing with the bullying epidemic that people are facing.
Great site to get tips on Bully Prevention!
Child abduction is a real concern that we as parents and guardians have to be aware of and educate about. Through our programs we educate all our students on Situational Awareness and Safe Zones. For our younger students we discuss “good strangers” and who might be a possible “bad stranger”. We want to equip our students with the skills to be aware of strangers and empower them to be able to help others with possible dangerous situations that they may be faced with. Also, to help them make better decisions.
We have had the pleasure of working with local law enforcement to help educate and create awareness when students are away from parents or guardians.
